Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Argfluent is a monthly subscription. We want you to be able to leave easily, and to get a refund when the service genuinely didn't work for you. This page explains exactly how that works.
1. The 7-day free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full Pro access — no card required up front. If you don't want to continue, simply do nothing: at the end of the trial you will be downgraded to the free tier automatically and you will not be charged. The free trial is offered once per email address and cannot be reset by deleting and re-creating an account.
2. Cancelling a paid subscription
You can cancel at any time, no questions asked:
- Log in and go to Settings → Billing.
- Click Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Click Cancel plan.
Cancellation stops future charges. You keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Once that period ends, your account reverts to the free tier; your data (analytics, uploads, study plan) stays on file until you delete the account.
3. Refund policy
- First month, 14-day window. If you are charged for your first paid month (i.e. the first auto-renewal after your free trial) and decide within 14 days that Argfluent isn't for you, email [email protected] from your account's email address with the word "refund" in the subject. We'll cancel your subscription and issue a full refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
- After the 14-day window. Subsequent monthly renewals are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current month.
- Service disruption. If a substantial outage (more than 24 hours of unavailability in a single calendar day) prevents you from using a paid feature, write us and we will issue a pro-rata service credit or refund at our discretion.
- Billing errors. If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge after cancellation), contact [email protected] within 60 days. We'll investigate and correct any confirmed error.
4. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent: your profile, uploaded score reports, practice history, study plan, and lesson progress are removed within 30 days. We retain only the minimum billing records required by tax and accounting law.
Deleting an account does not automatically refund unused subscription time, and it does not reset the 7-day free trial — the trial is tied to your email address, not to a specific account.
